Grape Distillate, Lime-Burnt Tarragon Cordial, Method: Stir Garnish: Fragrant Oil. Inspiration: Matenadaran is a research center, which is one of the largest repositories of manuscripts in the world and the biggest repository of ancient Armenian manuscripts. The word “Matenadaran” means a repository of manuscripts in Armenian. The Matenadaran was created on the basis of the collection of manuscripts of the Etchmiadzin Monastery nationalized in 1920. The beginning of the creation of this collection dates back to the 5th century and is associated with Mesrop Mashtots, the creator of the Armenian script. The exposition of the central hall gives a general idea of the development of Armenian medieval science, literature and art, and, in general, Armenian culture over the centuries. My cocktail contains local ingredients that grow and are produced on the territory of Armenia. It is based on Armenian grape distillate and cordial from clarified lime juice and burnt tarragon. The drink is decorated with three drops of fragrant oil, which is infused with five herbs and spices that grow on the territory of Armenia. These drops will tend to reunite from three into one big one, which characterizes the cocktail from the point of view of science. Also, the drink is as transparent as possible, and the drops look like sketches of paint on a white canvas of paper, personifying it, from the point of view of art.
