Cherry Brandy infused with dry tomato, peach compote juice, honey flower syrup, fresh lemon juice. Garnish: Dry lemon peel powder, sumac. While creating this cocktail, I was inspired by the wonderful ornamental sculptures of Yerevan architecture, where pomegranates and grapes occupy a significant place. Pomegranates and grapes have a special place in Armenian jewellery art and culture in general. Ornamental motifs of grapes and pomegranates are generally widespread in countries where viticulture and winemaking have developed. Winemaking has been practised in the Armenian plateau since ancient times. Grape or pomegranate wine had both domestic and ritual significance. The alcoholic basis of the "Sirun" cocktail is the Armenian cherry brandy which in turn is the symbol of grapes. I used fresh pomegranate. The color of the cocktail symbolizes the tuff, and the name is Siroon (Beauty), because there is no other city in the World as "Sirun" as Yerevan.
